Colin Simpson

Colin joined GLIL in March 2019. As well as project compliance and managing stakeholder relationships, Colin's role involves ensuring the infrastructure assets in LPPI and GLIL meet targeted investment returns. He also identifies and executes strategic value enhancement initiatives and contributes to the wider business including the evaluation and origination of investment opportunities.

Colin joined LPPI from Amber Infrastructure where he had responsibility for a global portfolio of social infrastructure and renewable energy assets, in addition to central functions such as investor reporting. Earlier in his career he worked for global engineering consultancies Arup and AECOM. Colin holds an MBA with distinction from Cass Business School and an engineering degree from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
