On 1st May 2024, Mitie successfully launched Hard Service delivery at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW) for our new client, Coventry and Rugby Hospital Company (CRHC Plc). The PFI project encountered difficulties with the delivery of Hard FM services, as both UHCW Trust and CRHC Plc had lost confidence in the previous service provider and decided a change was essential.

The mobilisation was achieved in just 10 days, seamlessly integrating approximately 201 employees into Mitie Healthcare business and onboarding around 100 subcontractors. Throughout this rapid transition, Mitie ensured the uninterrupted delivery of critical services to the hospitals in Coventry and Rugby.

Both our client, CRHC Plc, and the UHCW Trust were immensely grateful and impressed by Mitie's meticulously planned approach to mobilisation. They praised the efficiency of the process, with a key achievement being no disruption to critical service provision for the hospital, staff, patients, or visitors.

Charles McLeod, CRHC Board Director, said, "Since Mitie has mobilised at Coventry and Rugby, the result is a demonstrable improvement in Hard FM service delivery."

Ben Widdowson, Trust Director of Estates and Facilities, commented, "I have been impressed by Mitie's professionalism, mobilisation, and grasp of challenges they have faced." Mitie also received a Net Promoter Score of +71 for mobilisation.
