HOW TO GET THERE?

We encourage our audience to use low emission means of transport to travel to the event.


Overground Trains: Utilise overground train services to get close to the area, then proceed by walking or using buses. 

Check National Rail for train options but below are a few options we have highlighted.

  • From Paddington Station:

Walking: Exit Paddington via the main concourse. Head towards Praed Street, then continue onto Bayswater Road. Turn right and walk east with Hyde Park on your right. Walk straight for about 7–8 minutes. The hotel will be on your left.

Bus: Walk to Paddington Stn / Eastbourne Terrace bus stops (about 8–10 min). Catch a 94 or 148 heading south/east toward Bayswater Road / Lancaster Gate stops. Get off at Lancaster Gate (LE/LA/LC/LK) and walk ~4 min to the hotel

  • From Lancaster Gate Station:

Walking: Exit the station onto Bayswater Road. Turn right (Hyde Park will be on your right);/ Walk about 100 - 150 metres. The Royal Lancaster London is on your left, directly opposite Hyde Park

Bus: Just walk to the nearby Lancaster Gate bus stops listed above and board any of 94, 148, 274, N207 to go further, or alight at one of the stops if you’re coming toward the hotel.

  • From Queensway Station:

Walking: Exit onto Queensway. Walk north toward Bayswater Road. Turn right onto Bayswater Road. Walk about 5 minutes. The hotel will be on your left, opposite Hyde Park.

  • From Edgeware Road Station: 

Walking: Exit Edgware Road station onto the main road. Head southwest toward Bayswater Road. When you reach Bayswater Road, turn left (west). Continue walking straight for ~10–12 minutes. You’ll arrive at Royal Lancaster London near Lancaster Gate.

  • From Bayswater Station:

Walking: Exit the station and head north along Queensway. Continue until you reach Bayswater Road. Turn right and walk about 5 minutes. Royal Lancaster London will be on your left.

Bike: London's growing cycle lanes and bike-sharing schemes provide an option for cyclists. Use a cycle route planner for the best route to Royal Lancaster.

Taxi: Taxis and Uber are readily available for a direct and convenient journey.

Car: If you have a car, driving is an option. Keep in mind parking challenges in central London and potential congestion and ULEZ charges. The nearest car park is YourParkingSpace Elizabeth Hotel Lancaster Gate car park.
