Nicolaas de Koning

Nicolaas, a 15-year veteran in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), heads PPP Bids & Assets Management at BESIX in the Middle East. His PPP journey began with highway and waterworks projects in Belgium and the Netherlands. Upon relocating to Dubai in 2017, he transitioned to waste management and social infrastructure PPP projects. Nicolaas aims to strengthen BESIX's unique position as an industrial equity provider, combining project finance capabilities with engineering, procurement, and construction experience. Nicolaas holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Delft.
