Key achievements - LED lighting renewal with real-time fault monitoring delivers 60% energy reduction, saving £144,231 annually, cutting 577 MWh, and avoiding 133 tonnes CO₂. - Chiller replacement using compact multi-stage technology improves efficiency, with 90% of old units recycled. - Building management system upgrade to IQ4 with future-proof path to IQ5 for smarter energy control. - Medical gas vacuum pump upgrade increases capacity by 25% to 5,200 litres per minute, removing critical clinical risk. Value for money and governance: £173,000 saving achieved on chillers. Nurse call renewal delivered ahead of schedule and under budget.
