WEPCo
Social Value and Community Benefits are embedded across all WEPCo projects, driving long term, meaningful outcomes for learners, communities, and local economies. In 2025, we strengthened this commitment through a new partnership with the Women’s Leadership Group, promoting construction careers to young women across Wales. WEPCo continues to lead the market in sustainable design. Our award winning Mynydd Isa Campus exemplifies our delivery of Net Zero Carbon in Operation buildings that meet Welsh Government embodied carbon targets and achieve BREEAM Excellent, supported by rigorous independent assurance throughout design and construction. Our collaborative approach underpins every project. In 2025, WEPCo brought together public and private sector partners—including competing D&B contractors—to establish a shared commitment for improving affordability, efficiency, and best practice across future developments. This year we progressed two major FE campuses—Coleg Sir Gar and Coleg Gwent—both demonstrating technical excellence, innovative early contractor involvement, effective stakeholder engagement, and strong market confidence in PPP delivery. With three major projects closed since 2020, four operational campuses, two colleges under construction and two further colleges progressing to Financial Close, WEPCo continues to demonstrate that PPP is a powerful enabler of high quality, sustainable education infrastructure in Wales.
